We are the world’s 2nd largest English-speaking nation and hold the second place as the country with the largest numbers of scientists and engineers. We are also the second largest producer of small cars.
Best in innovation
India is the only country in the world after the USA and Japan to have built a super computer indigenously. Our Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), ‘Mangalyaan’ is the first Asian and fourth nation worldwide to reach Mars. We are also the first country in the world to do so in its first attempt and the maker of the cheapest Mars mission ever.
