As we are all quarantined in our homes right now, why not use it as a opportunity to just slow down and have some realisations. Many of us have often complained about not having enough time for our families and ourselves. Now is the time to make up for all those things and come out stronger. Here are someways to make most of this quarantine:-
Just pickup that book which you have wanted to read from a long time but just couldn’t. You can even re-read your favorite books again.
Spend time with your love
Have a candle light dinner with your spouse at home, cause, why not? This is the best time to spend some quality time with each other.
Yes, the same ones which have been lying somewhere in a pile of dust, pick them up and have some fun with your family. Games like ludo, snakes and ladder , carrom, tambola and even raja mantri chor sipahi can be a good pastime for everybody in the house.
Write out everything that you ever wanted to. Just get it out of your system and relax your mind.
Now this doesn’t mean that you have to sit cross-legged and chant something or focus on your breath. It has a different meaning for everybody. For someone it could be drawing, for others it could be reading or maybe doing make-up. Figure out what is it for you and do it.
Just dance your heart out. In our fast-paced lives we rarely get a chance to dance. Use this opportunity to maybe improve your dancing skills, plus, dancing is said to release “happy hormones”. So, it is also good for our health.
Or maybe just sleep
Now, that’s not very productive but you don’t always have to be.
Sometimes not being productive is the best thing you can do to yourself as a good sleep in turn relaxes our mind and then we can focus better on things.
Do whatever you want to. Spend time with family, call people you haven’t talked to in ages, laugh, maybe time to learn the thing you were very passionate about but couldn’t pursue. Whatever it is, just live these moments. These may not be the most beautiful but very memorable moments of our lives. And don’t forget to be kind to each other.
