Here is the thing about Benedict Cumberbatch. He is utterly flawless in his strangeness. Right from curls to fingers that hurl, the voice that melts coldest hearts and an effortless grace over which everyone sighs, he kills every aspect of sexy.
His confidence, his charisma, his endless talent-hitch, his passion towards his work, his sweet nature, his breathtaking eyes, and those sexy cheekbones — everything about this man is an addiction!
However, there’s a lot more to him than just his jawline and neck (his neck will be the death of me). Let’s take a moment to appreciate this man’s work.
English Teacher in India!
Benedict Cumberbatch is an art scholar from Harrow School where he won the ‘best schoolboy actor’ title. Upon completing school, he took a year’s gap and worked as a voluntary English teacher at a Tibetan monastery in Darjeeling, India. What luck his students must’ve had!
ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
Ice Bucket Challenge is perhaps, the most viral campaign promoting awareness about Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s disease. It is about dumping a bucket full of ice and water over a person’s head. Over 17 million people took the Ice Bucket Challenge including Bill Gates and George Bush, but the man who took over the internet was our Benedict Cumberbatch.
He took the challenge five times for his five nominations in the wittiest and hilarious manner. And he nailed it!
Awards over Awards
A special shoutout to the breathtaking thriller SHERLOCK for setting so many goals! Be it friendship goals, or family goals, or even envy goals, Sherlock taught us all. Benedict Cumberbatch’s exceptional performance along with the cast and developers made Sherlock win literally all the BAFTA Cymru awards, all the British Academy Television awards, Ben’s Emmy for outstanding lead actor and many more.
He defines logic like a gentleman.

“If she is not paid the same as men, I’m not doing it.”
Gentleman, gentleman, gentleman!
Steven Speilberg called Benedict Cumberbatch the best on-screen Sherlock!
Now, this is the highest of praises one can receive, that too from the War Lord himself! Initially, he turned the role down saying that it was cheesy portray Sherlock but later on changed his mind.
Best decision ever!
One can’t just get enough of Benedict Cumberbatch. There’s so much to him that even a million words cannot complete praises. Wordhazard wishes this genius a warm and joyous birthday.
