To Mr. Bachchan,
Sir, 11th October is not just a date but a festival for all of your fans around the globe. Everyone knows you as the Angry Young Man, the Anthony from Amar Akbar Anthony and many such names that are a true reflection of your hard work and success. For the world you might be all of these characters first but for me, you are an inspiration, a living legend. Since the moment I have begun watching films, your persona has had a huge impact on me as a person. I remember watching Anand for the first time and realizing that your on screen presence was my off screen happiness. Sir, you for me are someone who inspires me to keep moving for life is fullof ups and downs.
I have my own way to cherish 11th October by watching all your movies on TV that are telecasted. From Sharaabi to Baghban, KhudaGawah to Paa and many more movies that have a special place in my heart. Your every character has a story to tell and very easily connects with my soul. I’ve admired you on that chair of Kaun Banega Crorepati and at the same time danced to the beats of Badumba song. I’ve laughed my heart out in SattepeSattaand cried every time you shed a tear on screen.
I remember as a child I always complained, why Mr. Bachchan has to die in the climax of most of his films? Those climax scenes of Sholay, Paa, 102 Not Out have all made me feel so sad. I’ve grown up watching your films and adoring your dialogues. From “Hum Jahan Khade ho Jaate Hain Line Wahin se Shuru Ho Jaatihai to KabhiKabhi Mere DilmeinKhayalAata Hai”, they have been my favorite. From Rang Barse to Main YahanTuWahan, your voice has always been so connective and mesmerizing. Meeting you in person and being able to express what you are to me is my dream. To witness your charismatic persona, to hear those dialogues live is my dream.
Your movies are an eternal part of my life. Baghban has made me realize not just what family means but also the essence of true love. Mohabatein has made me witness the strong man whose ethics are his priority. Sharaabi has taught me to stay grounded no matter how rich you are. Paa, 102 Not Out taught me to live life to the fullest. While we see you work, we realize there is no end to legendary art and talent. Your work is eternal and so is your personality. The industry is blessed to have you as someone whose admiration for anything or anyone is a blessing for them.
No award or honor is greater than the honor of being a living legend and yet so grounded and humble. I heard someone saying that you are just 36 years for you had a rebirth after the accident in Coolie. I was not even born then but every time I see you sir, I thank God for making me so lucky to watch you. On this birthday of yours, I wish you all the happiness, success and health. May you continue to work and may we meet soon someday sir. For me you are no less than a teacher, a guide and a man of honor.
For me, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is not just an actor but a feeling of respect, honor and purity. Your journey will continue to motivate me to be a person who gained respect through his unique work and humble gestures. I’ll continue to try my luck in KBC and all other ways in the hope to meet you sir. Words will always seem less for me to describe your importance in my life. I know one thing for sure that if I meet you someday, I’ll just cry out of happiness. My words will have no way to come out expect my eyes. Happiest Birthday Sir !
With best wishes,
Your greatest fan!
