Can you imagine a mobile phone smaller than your thumb, lighter than a coin and also cute looking? Well, meet Zanco tiny t1, the world’s smallest mobile phone yet. The Tiny t1 measures 46.7mm x 21mm x 12mm and weigh merely 13 grams. So, here are 5 quick facts about Tiny t1:-

Tiny t1 is smaller than a credit card and just bigger than a £2 coin. The company on its Kickstarter page says the phone could be used as a backup phone, and is “perfect for joggers, runners, walkers, cyclists and those who take part in extreme sports because it’s so compact it can go in any-size pocket.”

4. Lighter in weight

The company says that the phone, weighing 13 grams, is lighter than a ₤2 coin. Calling it as a backup phone, the company claims that it is “perfect for joggers, runners, walkers, cyclists and those who take part in extreme sports because it’s so compact it can go in any-size pocket.”

3. Operate only on 2G network

The toy-like device operates on 2G, and comes with a 200mAh battery, that the company claims is good enough to last up to three days on standby and 180 minutes talk time.

2. 32 MB of storage

Priced at Rs 2,999, the phone measures 94.4 x 35.85 x 7.6mm and weighs 30 grams and sports a feature phone-like design with a 1-inch TFT display of 128×96 pixels resolution. It runs on MediaTek MT6261D processor and has 32MB storage and supports additional storage up to 32GB via a microSD card. Nanophone C is powered by a 280 mAh Li-Polymer battery.

The Zanco tiny t1 has connectivity options like 2G, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. The tiny t1 is a quad-band phone and will be available in two 2G band frequencies – 850/1900 and 900/1800; there is no support for 3G or 4G frequencies. There is no Internet access on this phone. The bottom of the tiny t1 features a mic and a loudspeaker.

In terms of pricing, the Tiny t1 is still a Kickstarter campaign, and will be only funded if it reaches its goal of $33,480 by January 19, 2018. However, the phone is expected to ship anywhere in the world by May 2018.
